Qualifications for application
⦁ Foreigners and overseas Koreans with academic qualification equivalent to high school graduation or higher
Application Process
■ Visa-free
⦁ Holders of nationality from countries that allow 90-day stay among visa-free entry countries
⦁ In order to extend the period of stay after entering Korea, students must obtain a Language Training visa (D-4-1)
⦁ Can take Regular Korean Language classes for one semester
⦁ Admission process
① Submission of Application for Admission and supporting documents → ② Application Review (Documents and Interview) →
③ Notification of Acceptance and Payment Notice→ ④ Tuition Payment → ⑤ Taking the placement test after entering Korea
■ Short-Term Visa (C-3-1)
⦁ Visa obtained by individuals by visiting the local Korean Embassy or Consulate (90 days stay available)
⦁ In order to extend the period of stay after entering Korea, students must obtain the Language Training visa (D-4-1)
** Tourist visa (C-3-2. C-3-9) cannot be changed to Language Training visa.

① Submission of Application for Admission and supporting documents → ② Application Review (Documents and Interview) →
③ Notification of Acceptance and Payment Notice→ ④ Tuition Payment → ⑤ Taking the placement test after entering Korea
■ Language Training Visa (D-4-1)
⦁ Must stay in Korea for the initial 6 months
⦁ After that, students can extend their visa every 3 or 6 months (up to two years of visa extension)
⦁ Admission process
① Submission of Application for Admission and supporting documents → ② Application Review (Documents and Interview)→
③ Notification of Acceptance and Payment Notice → ④ Tuition Payment → ⑤ Issuance of Certificate of Admission (Visa Issuance Confirmation) →
⑥ Visa application → ⑦ Visa obtained → ⑧ Taking the placement test after entering Korea
※ Depending on the country, it may take approximately a month or more from submission of admission documents for a visa

⦁ Please consult via email or phone before submitting documents
Document Submission
■ Visa-free and Short-Term Visa
⦁ All documents must be submitted in Korean or English, and for documents in other languages, a notarized Korean translation must be submitted along with the original
⦁ Submitted documents will not be returned
⦁ Additional documents may be requested during the document screening process

A copy of graduation certificate of highest academic level or original certificate of enrollment (issued within the last 3 months) 5. A copy of International Student Insurance Certificate (if not subscribed yet, sign up in Korea) |
■ Language Study Visa (D-4-1)
⦁ All documents must be submitted in Korean or English, and for documents in other languages, a notarized Korean translation must be submitted along with the original
⦁ All documents must be issued within 3 months and submitted documents will not be returned
⦁ Additional documents may be requested during the documents screening process
Required Documents | 1. Application form (Online submission via Google Form) 2. A copy of passport 3. 2 color photos (3*4cm size, taken within the last 6 months, white background) 4. A copy of identification card 5. A copy of graduation certificate of highest academic level or original certificate of enrollment - Original Apostille or Consular confirmation from diplomatic missions overseas of the Republic of Korea - For Chinese nationality, a copy issued by the Ministry of Education's Educational Certification Center (CHSI) 6. Original transcript of highest academic record (indicate all grades and GPA) 7. Documents proving financial ability with USD 10,000 or more - Bank Balance Certificate in student's name (Parent's bank statement acceptable) - Bank Transaction History for the Past 3 to 6 Months, Maintained for over 3 months from date of issue - For Vietnamese nationality, submit a Confirmation of deposit for study abroad expenses 8. A copy of Family Relation Certificate - Authenticated by Apostille or the Korean consulate - Chinese students → Household registration book 9. A copy of parents’ identification card or passport 10. Documents proving parents’ financial ability - Employment Certificate, Business Registration, or Career Certificate (with company name, employment period, and position) - Income or Tax Certificate (showing monthly or annual salary) 11. Supporting Documents (if applicable) |
Tuition Payment
⦁ Application fee: KRW 50,000 (first time only)
⦁ Tuition fee: KRW 1,500,000 / per term (textbooks fees not included)

⦁ If you are issued a Language Training visa (D-4-1), you must pay tuition fees for two semesters
⦁ Tuition payment is notified individually to the final successful applicants via invoice. Deposit is made only when an invoice is issued or when the person in charge requests payment
※ Do not deposit tuition or application fees before passing the document screening process
⦁ Tuition fee must be deposited in the name of the applicant
⦁ In case of refund, the application fee will not be refunded
